MP2 RESEARCH LAB
MP2 lab is an interdisciplinary group of people with a common interest in plant immunity and animal genetics.

One of the research focus includes discovering molecular mechanisms involved in banana-nematode interaction, molecular mechanisms in the flowering time of banana and Shorea sp., and rice sORFs upon stress. The lab performs routine molecular biology techniques such as gene cloning, gene construction, protein expression, and purification in bacteria systems, and plant transformation. Lab skills also include bioinformatics skills.
